About Ajrakh : Ajrak printing is a distinguished form of woodblock printing that originated in the present-day province of Sindh, Pakistan and neighbouring Indian districts of Kutch in Gujarat and Barmer in Rajasthan. It is estimated to be around 4,500 years old. Ajrak printing is embedded into the culture of Sindhi people owing to the traditions of the ancient Indus Valley Civilisation. The process of 'Ajrakh Printing ' is a long and tedious one with many stages and each layer of colour is printed after a gap of time so the cloth has to stay for the day.

This is a hand block printed piece, minor color smudges, spills are part of the creation process ...
We try to match the colors/details of the products in the photos to the real ones, but please allow for minor color variation in the material in some cases, as sometimes the digital cameras miss the colors by a bit..
